Eggs and Parenting

We have sense enough to know that if you take an egg out of the fridge, crack its shell, pour its contents into a frying plan, and stir liberally, it will be scrambled. Yet some take their family out of the church, crack their confidence in the faith, pour them into a wicked world, stir them with carnality, and expect them to be no worse for the wear.

Parents have an important responsibility to pass the faith once delivered to the saints down to their children, lest they become the spiritual desert that separates Christian grandparents from their pagan grandchildren.
